Base camp
The exhibition took place in run down premises that are planned to become refurbished studios for artists. The politicians are in agreement about the plans for the "atelierhus"/the studios. However, there were no money for the project as the exhibition took place.
In the first plans, we were told the studios would be ready to use in 2011. The city of Stavanger has announced the aim to be a city accommodating artists well, also as a part of their economical and social development of the city.
The texts on the walls are "art production" and "caution fragile. "The cut out paper text spells: Free art.
